Outdoor Maintenance in Cirencester

What is included

Replacement fence panels slotted into existing concrete posts, gates re-hung and adjusted, gate latches and hinges replaced, gutter clearing (terraced and semi-detached houses, plus accessible detached roof lines), downpipe unblocking, jet washing of patios and drives, path and patio weeding, shed door repairs, shed felt patching, greenhouse pane replacement (with you supplying the glass or polycarbonate), garden furniture assembly or winter storage, outdoor tap winterising, bird feeder brackets fitted, and general garden tidying.

What is NOT included

Tree surgery, hedge work beyond a light trim, roof tile replacement, chimney work, new fence post installation with concrete (unless it is a single small post), structural decking, and pond maintenance are not part of the service. Martin will recommend a tree surgeon, roofer or landscaper if the job is better suited to one.

How long it takes

A single fence panel swap is usually under an hour. A full row of panels takes most of a morning. Gutter clearing on a three-bed semi is typically two hours. Patio jet washing depends heavily on the size and how green it has gone, anywhere from two hours up to a full day for a large drive and patio combined.

Pricing

First hour £55, each hour after £35. A half-day is £125 and a full day is £230, which most larger outdoor jobs fall into. Fence panels, felt, replacement glass and similar materials can be supplied by you or picked up at cost. If the job needs a specific jet washer attachment or power tool Martin does not own, he will tell you before starting.

Common questions

Do you have a jet washer? Yes, a domestic pressure washer suitable for patios, drives, paths and garden furniture. For very large commercial areas you would want a bigger machine.

Can you do my gutters if my house has three floors? Ground floor and standard two-storey gutters yes. Three-storey terraces or very high roof lines need scaffolding or a proper cherry picker, and that is a different trade.

Will you take the garden waste away? Small amounts yes, as part of the job. A full garden clearance needs to be booked as its own tip run.
