From there Martin regularly works in South Cerney, Siddington, Kemble, Ewen, Somerford Keynes, Poulton, Ampney Crucis, Bibury, Coln St Aldwyns, Fairford, Lechlade, Northleach, Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold, Chedworth, Sapperton, Oakridge, Bisley, Daglingworth, and the Duntisbournes. Tetbury, Malmesbury and Cricklade are regular runs too.

Honest about mileage

Anything outside Cirencester carries a small mileage charge to cover the drive. Martin will tell you the total before the visit is booked, so there are no surprises on the invoice. For villages close to Cirencester the charge is modest. For the far end of the Cotswolds it is higher, and it is often more sensible to book a half day so the journey is worthwhile.

Changing bulbs, batteries and smoke alarms. Minor repairs that have been waiting for the right person. Moving furniture. Fitting rails and handles. Clearing out a garage or a spare room. Taking things to the tip. Putting up shelves and picture hooks. Light garden tidying between the visits of a proper gardener. A walk into the village for shopping if time allows.

What a visit looks like

Martin arrives, checks the list with you over a cup of tea, and gets started. He works steadily, explains what he is doing, and flags anything he thinks a proper tradesman should look at. He is DBS checked and happy to show ID on the doorstep.

Pricing

£55 for the first hour. £35 for each hour after that. Half day is £125. Full day is £230. Monthly packages are available for people who want a predictable visit every few weeks: Starter £55 for two hours, Regular £100 for four hours, Premium £185 for eight hours. Mileage is added for villages outside Cirencester.
