Who runs this site

This website belongs to Cirencester Handyman, a sole trader business based in Cirencester, Gloucestershire, GL7. The owner of the business is Martin. Contact details are on the contact page.

What information is collected

This site does not use cookies. There are no analytics scripts running. There are no third-party trackers. There is no advertising. Visiting a page on this site does not store anything in your browser beyond the standard cache that any browser keeps for any website.

The only personal information Cirencester Handyman holds is the information you choose to give when you contact the business: your name, your phone number, your email address (if you write one), your postcode (if you give it), and the description of the job you want done. This is held only for as long as needed to give you a quote, do the work, and send an invoice.

What it is used for

Your contact details are used to reply to your enquiry, book a visit, and follow up after the work. They are not shared with anyone else. They are not added to a marketing list, sold to anyone, or used for anything else.

How it is stored

Enquiries arrive by phone (held in the phone records), email (held in the email account), or via the contact form (which sends an email). Booking notes for repeat customers are held in a paper diary or simple spreadsheet on a password-protected computer. Invoices are held for the period required by HMRC for tax records (currently six years).

Your rights

You can ask at any time to see what information Cirencester Handyman holds about you, to have it corrected if anything is wrong, or to have it deleted (subject to the HMRC requirement to retain invoices). Just call or email and ask.

Cookies

This site does not set any cookies. Most pages contain links to a Google Font (Nunito), which loads from Google's servers. Google may set cookies as part of that, which is governed by Google's own privacy policy. No other third-party content is loaded.

Third parties

The site is hosted on Hostinger. Hostinger holds standard server logs (IP address, page requested, time) for security and operational reasons, governed by Hostinger's own privacy policy. No data from this site is shared with any other third party.

Children

This site is not directed at children. Cirencester Handyman is not aware of collecting any data about anyone under 16. If you believe your child has contacted the business and would like the information removed, please get in touch.

Changes

If anything in this policy changes, the page will be updated and the date at the top will change. Major changes will also be flagged with a notice on the home page.
